Michigan Trophy hit by car in Urban area

Michigan Trophy buckThis Michigan Buck is a trophy no matter what state your hunting in. To see a free roaming buck like this in Michigan is a rare sight indeed where the average age of the buck harvested is 1 1/2 years old. That is why these new Urban and City Bow only area’s give you a shot at a true trophy. Here are deer that have adapted and grown to old age living in a protected environment with good food. All most buck’s need is age to make that trophy class of 140 or more by 3 1/2. Just like the St Louis Monster that is the largest set of antler’s ever measured, he was found dead with in city limits. Check your game laws and examine the thickets and fields around your city just a little closer.

That was an awesome buck….In michigan there are many urban bucks like that. Many of the suburbs still allow bow hunting on private land greater than 5 acres. Most people dont realize that its legal but even if it is legal all hunters must use extreme caution when hunting the burbs….All you need is one anti that spots a hunter, doesnt like it, and raises holy hell with the City Council….next thing you know its over. No more hunting the burbs with no logical solution to manage the population.
