November 22, 2006 Two Bucks a 10 Point & 8 Point ended up in a death struggle ( locked horns ) At some point during their fight they fell into they pond & drowned. The DNR Dept. Of Natural Resources was called and they said if they were tagged they could be kept. Only because deer hunting season is open. If deer season was not open then the DNR would come out for the racks in order to display them as there is only two exhibits known in the State of Michigan.& donate the meat to the underprivileged. They were properly tagged and are going to be mounted. What a sight and how they must have struggled before and after getting into the water.
