Eagle Sports Wheel Chair
Eagle Sports Chair - the one on my logo I am wheeling in ![]()
I am a T-9 paraplegic that is very active. I love to hunt, fish and to be outside as much as possible. I am an avid, accomplished deer hunter. Check out the www.worldhunt.com
This chair allows me to go anywhere literally that I need to go in a chair. I actually can now go to any place in the yard, woods, beach or fields that I want to go on my own and unassisted. The lightweight frame and awesome knobby wheels with the quick disconnect and standard bar braking are just the start to this well thought out chair. It has functional steering and hand braking like a bicycle when going down inclines or long flat stretches. The weight distribution and large front wheels allow for travel over sand and soft areas that a normal chair would never be able to travel on.
With just a few pushes on each wheel with your gloved hand you travel very long distances on flat and uneven ground with No FEAR of turning over or the hard work that a normal chair creates in these situations. This is a life changing or life-altering chair for some one like me who wants to continue to go and do the things I did before my accident. With the bow and gun rack mounted on the front I can travel to and from my blind alone. We all know how much that means to us and let?s us get outdoors where we belong and not just watching it on TV or reading about it in magazines. There are places where a four-wheeler or ATV are not allowed and this chair is the best thing to get us there … believe me. I highly recommend it, even for quads to be in and have assistance. This thing is light and can be pulled or pushed if help is needed.

That chair is pretty cool man
Any experience using this chair all day long? I was an avid upland bird hunter and have been struggeling to find a way to still get out in the field with my German Shorthair to go pheasant hunting. I have managed to modify my current chairs for stationary hunting such as deer and turkey but have not yet found a way to get out and follow behind my dog all day long while she works fields. Also, how does this work out in tall grasses and CRP, do you get stuck easily or does it run all of that over?
This goes anywhere your arms will power it to go. It is great for me anywhere and I have hunted quail and rabbits with it behind dogs. But it still requires a lot of arm strength like a regular chair. It will not turn over and does not bog down with the front wheels like my normal quickie chair does. It is not as good as an ATV but it is the best manual chair out there and if you have people with you it is easy to push when your stuck. Gun or bow rack mounts on the front so you can use both hands and not worry about your weapon. I love mine as I can go all over my 5 cres now without any help where as before my normal chair would sink the front wheels and it was really hard work to get around.
